A number of changes have taken place recently to Deutsche Bahn’s Board of Directors. In full agreement with the company, Oliver Kraft, Chairman of the Management Board of DB Netz AG since early 2010, will no longer exercise his mandate from 30 April. The 50-year-old computer specialist with a background in economics joined DB 15 years ago.
Oliver Kraft’s successor at the head of DB Netz AG will be Frank Sennhenn, 49 years, who has been Chairman of the Management Board of DB Regio AG since 2009.
Dr Rüdiger Grube, Chairman of the Management Board of Deutsche Bahn AG as well as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of DB Netz AG, warmly thanked Oliver Kraft for his commitment to the company over the many years. Speaking of his successor, he said “Mr Sennhenn will be a bright and experienced manager for the company who will rise to the various infrastructure-related challenges.”
