Last week the UIC Digital Platform organised two major events in China:
- A digital mission: over the course of a week, a group of 28 executives composed of UIC members, institutional and industry partners met the Chinese Digital Ecosystem.
Participants had the opportunity to visit and hold discussions with the main actors of digital developments in China such as Tencent, Huawei, Dassault Systèmes company, Alibaba.
It was an opportunity to discover the new trends and to become aware that the future is now.
- A two-day workshop dedicated to Rail and AI (Artificial Intelligence): Intelligent Rail with over 120 attendees, two keynote speeches, 11 speakers representing the rail sector, universities and the supply industry.
Over the course of a whole week the three UIC principles of “Share – Open – Connect” were upheld.
A specific publication in further detail will be issued in the near future to all UIC Members on both the Digital Mission in China and the “Intelligent Rail” workshop.
